Drouin Baptist Church has seen much change since its humble beginning in 1984.

Drouin itself, located 90 kilometres east of Melbourne, Victoria, has grown dramatically in the past decade.

Drouin Baptist Church is a growing, multi-generational church family, with a current average of 70–80 members and 130 attendees.

As a community of believers in Jesus Christ, we have a desire to serve the Lord. We seek to serve Jesus, not only in the church, but also in ministries outside the church, both in the local community and the world.

We value solid, biblical, Christ-centred, gospel-driven preaching and teaching, and appreciate and enjoy good, theologically sound music and singing. Drouin Baptist Church endeavours to be a friendly, welcoming congregation, and we are excited to see what God has planned for us as we enter a new season in our church.

Drouin Baptist Church is seeking to appoint a pastor who would be responsible for the leadership of the church. This would include overseeing preaching, evangelism, discipleship, pastoral care and leadership development.

As a sole pastor role initially, the pastor would work alongside, and closely with, our Deacons, Elders, and ministry leaders.

The pastor would have the responsibility of leading, teaching and training a growing congregation.

They would be responsible for the effective ministry, spiritual health, and growth of the church. The pastor, alongside our Elders, would be the spiritual leader of our church and is the pastoral team leader of the church.

Being a Christ-centred, Bible believing church it is essential that our pastor is a formally trained, gifted communicator who is a person of high integrity, vision and passion. They would demonstrate a godly character, a sense of call to the church, and a practical commitment to equipping leaders to do ministry work.
